The 2024 China-California Business Forum was held on May 20th at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles, California. The event drew over 500 political and business leaders from both China and the United States, who engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as clean technology, e-commerce, agriculture, infrastructure, and innovation collaboration. Since its inception in 2016, the China-California Business Forum has successfully convened five sessions, fostering numerous sustainable and pragmatic outcomes. This forum has invigorated local cooperation between China and the U.S., bolstering confidence and momentum for the stable and sustainable development of bilateral relations.

Since the first China-California Forum in 2016, the US-China Cleantech Center has been responsible for organizing bilateral clean tech exchanges at the forum. In 2024, with the support of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration (ITA), the UCCTC hosted a US-China Cleantech Collaboration Meeting during the forum. The meeting saw participation from thirteen American companies and two Chinese companies, each presenting their innovations and collaboration opportunities.
